  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

Nah. I'm not "just fucking with you." While it's true that I did indeed inject some sarcasm and humor (because it's needed to counteract the snooze-inducing rhetoric of you boring fuckers in GD) it's all based squarely on truth.

My humor based on truth I pull out of my brain. Your lack of humor based on nonsense you pull out of somewhere else....

Without subsidies, the most a person has to pay a year for medical care under the ACA is $6,600 for an individual and $13,200 for a couple or family. With a subsidy, that drops to $2,250 to $5,200 for an individual, or $4,500 to $10,400 for a family in 2015.

People who were willing to take a risk and have a $10,000 deductible used to be able to get their premiums to $400 or less, the premiums on the exchange are nearly twice that.

In some areas of the country, the lowest deductible on a family plan at the silver level is $9,000, while most are $12,700.

ACA was not a plan to lower costs, or a plan that provides healthcare, it is a plan for more federal fucking government in your life.

While you're cherry picking numbers to justify your argument, my wife is enjoying the benefits of affordable healthcare. It is saving us thousands and meant she could retire sooner because of it. Her silver plan with subsidies costs a fraction of what her employer was paying for coverage that wasn't as good as the Silver plan.

We are experiencing the savings right here at the Rixer doghouse PERSONALLY. We see it first hand in our personal budget so don't tell me that we don't have a more affordable healthcare plan than we had before. Me and my wallet know better...... even if you don't.

Cherry picking number?, hardly, these numbers are factual numbers that are being paid by the consumer, consumers in various areas of this nation, while also contributing to this nation National debt, while it may be cheaper for you, it is NOT cheaper for this nation, and certainly not a benefit for the future generations to come.

Obviously that is of no concern to you, as long as you get yours, aint that?.

This is a sad display of your personal delusions of reality, and I will also tell you that I am not happy to be contributing to your own personal financial gains, I would fell differently, if you were an employee of mine, rather than a recipient of this nations socialism.

Good grief, talk about personal delusions. You teabaggers are doing everything to discredit the ACA in order to promote your own political desires. Fuck the people and full speed ahead, right?

ACA works for us. While it's not perfect, it's still better than what we had. It could have been better if republicans would have worked together for the good of the country but nooooo.... They hang their hats on making it fail so they can promote their party, even to the detriment of the people.

    Disgusting.

i can say with all honesty that my insurance costs more than doubled after obamacare kicked in. i am at federal poverty line and they didn't help me. Now i am in serious financial trouble because of the extra burden of health care that still doesn't pay for anything.

I think your problem is with the state of Georgia. If they would lower the povery rate to comply with the federal rate, you would be paying much less.

I don't know who or where the blame lies, i just know they will not help me. One foot note that is part of my problem that many don't know about is if you work and your employer offers insurance you must take it regardless of coverage or price. If you have employer insurance you must pay the full premium. This is where im getting screwed.

In Georgia, the average employer contribution to health insurance is $4,155/year. The average employee cost is $1,219/year. You are not paying nearly the full premium.

i must be because i am paying almost $6,000 per year . I would like to know where those figures came from because they are bullshit. I work for a very large company with about 28,000 employees, we all pretty much pay the same thing. Their rates are seen by the government and probably the msm, i don't see how they figure that making us pay as much as we are required to with the shitty benefits that this is some how beneficial to us since the price of everything doubled.

You folks are making a grievous error. You are either defending the ACA or complaining about it. The ACA is a boon for the big insurance companies. If the ACA was proposed by George Bush, democrats would be foaming at the mouth about republicans forcing citizens to buy insurance from the evil profit driven big insurance companies. You are being duped again!!! The key to this problem is to get health care costs under control. 5,6,7 thousand dollars a year for a single health insurance policy is fucking ridiculous! For pete's sake, stop falling for this partisan war bullshit! You're getting screwed, and their not being gentle. Wake up! Stop buying the bull shit!

From where do you obtain your health insurance? What are you paying?

I have three friends who qualified for ACA subsidised health insurance policies. None of them are paying over $1500 a year(that's about $125 a month). I keep hearing about these outrageous premiums, but never from someone who actually has an ACA subsidised policy.

For crying out loud Bronz, don't you even read the links you post? I obtained these figures from the link in your post a few posts ago. You supplied the info. Is it true or not?

Before I qualified for medicare I had insurance through United Health for a couple hundred bucks a month. Of course it was a catastrophic policy, I had a 10,000 dollar deductible. It met my needs however. It would have been better if health care costs were reasonable, if that were the case I could have saved a bundle for insurance I never even used.
